History

Mondaisa began in 1985 as a small farm dedicated to organic herb cultivation in the foothills of the Poas Volcano in the province of Alajuela, supplying the local spice needs of San Jose, Costa Rica.

The company took its first steps in the national market launching condiments and infusions of lemon grass, mint and some compounds that include medicinal plants and a variety of infusions.

Between 2020 and 2021 we reduced the use of paper, as we began to implement all records digitally and recycle all the material until we run out of stock. Thanks to this we managed to save 1.96 trees.

Our employees use route planning and good driving practices to reduce fuel consumption, reduce the greenhouse effect and improve driving safety.

Our suppliers are also committed to the environment and help us with the return of their own waste once it has been used in our production plant.
